Your ‘day to day’

The Consumer Insights & Analytics Lead will support PMI in Americas region in achieving business results, by leading quantitative and qualitative analysis, combining tools such as NPS, transactional data, consumer behavior, retail volume, brand equity and so on. This person will work closely with the commercial team, providing insights on the market and consumer, both for conventional cigarettes and the new categories.


The Consumer Insights & Analytics Lead will support PMI in Americas region in achieving business results by:

  • Do meta-analysis combining learning from multiple sources and projects into integrated learnings on specific topics.
  • Support business partners with insights, including NPS, new products, branding, performance measurement and execution excellence.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales and Finance teams to lead priority research projects based on consumer behavior.
  • Partner with a global network of PMI market researchers and external agencies to ensure harmonization of the tools we use.
  • Analyse data using data science tools as Python and SQL to take the best out of the data we have.

Who we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in Market Research across both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, ad hoc and systematic.
  • Proven research project management experience.
  • Fluent spoken and written English a must.
  • Be comfortable extracting insights from quantitative data, 'connecting the dots' across multiple data sources and making business recommendations.
  • Highly collaborative and independent individual with strong communication skills to make consumer insights relevant for different audiences in English.
  • Experience in working with Power BI is a plus.
  • Python knowledge for data analysis is a plus.
  • Organization savvy to work efficiently and identify opportunities to contribute within the Local, Regional & Global Research Cluster.
